February 8th, the Legislative Resolution! What happened yesterday will happen tomorrow!!
Stalin’s label of untouchability on public school students!
2024 – Do not sacrifice the people of Tamil Nadu to the political arena of the DMK!!
Tamil Nadu has been trapped as an altar of Dravidian ideologues for more than 75 years! One of its manifestations was the incident that took place in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on the 8th of February. Over the past five years, we have been picking up more resources than we need on all dimensions of NEET selection. No matter how much evidence is gathered, Dravidian stocks and their mouthpieces are not ready to look at it with knowledge or listen to it. Not today, but from the day they started the movement, they have only been doing things that are progressive, reactionary and irrational, pretending to speak rationally. The illusion that there is no better intellectual and activist in the world than themselves is ever-secreting in their brain.
They were not the ones who raised the slightest voice or fought for the liberation of India. Can those who come to do business here rule us? That self-respecting chick never had the slightest bit of guilt. Those who petitioned the British to rule us for themselves and were only bent on obtaining titles and positions like Mitta Mirasu, Zameen, Rao Bahadur, Sir. They do not understand the sacrifices of those who shed blood, were imprisoned and sacrificed their lives to liberate Indian soil. They do not understand the sacrifice made by the billions of Indians to reclaim the nation, which was being divided, into a single identity as Bharat or India. They think of pouring soil in our food. Yes! In every word and deed of the DMK there is only an increase in dividing people.
I have read about many of the great struggles and revolutions that have taken place in the world over the last 500 years and the histories of great leaders. But I have never read or heard of another post-fanatical movement like the DMK. Although Hitler was a fascist he had a norm.
All that is left for DMK is the mania for the movement created by someone else to own their family property and to hold themselves permanently in office within the party and the government. Tamil Nadu has been the victim of their greed for the last 50 years. From the anti-Hindi struggle to the Dravidian policy, their only history is to provoke the sentiments and anger of the youth and people of Tamil Nadu and sacrifice the youth.
The dams, roads, bridges, schools, and industrial developments that Shri Kamaraj had completed during his reign were all covered up and trivialised as ‘black crows’; MGR was purported to be ‘Malayali’ while Jayalalithaa was dubbed the ‘Kannada Pappathi’.
Tamil Nadu, which at one time had mastered the art of 64 coordinates, is now in a precarious position of relying on the people of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to make even a simple chair. As Rajaji abolished even the skill development program they had introduced as a caste system. DMK continues to make every effort to somehow impose the demand for a Dravidian state.
Dravida Nadu – Anti-Hindi – State autonomy, has now evolved into anti-NEET today. I had already warned the Governor of Tamil Nadu and the Home Ministry that the present DMK government was going wrong. I had said that a part of India’s sovereignty was going to come from Dravidian stocks. That is now being proven.
The general entrance examination for admissions to 585 undergraduate medical degree courses in private and government medical colleges is a decision that has been repeatedly debated by the Central Government and the National Medical Council for more than 15 years. Thereafter, the Supreme Court itself has ruled that a public entrance examination is mandatory to produce high quality doctors, as is the case today. Beginning with the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government in 2004, it was finalised in 2016. So this is totally a legal move. There is no political motive in this. Even high-quality medical institutions, such as AIIMS and JIPMER, which until then had autonomous powers after the NEET exam was implemented, have been subject to NEET score-based student admissions.
So it is very absurd to say that NEET is against rural, poor, innocent, backward, public school students or biased. In what way is it fair that the NEET examination, which is in force in 28 states and 8 Union Territories across India, is against only public school students who may be in Tamil Nadu? Is this not Stalin’s tenth accusation? What Stalin spoke of as a party leader before the 2019 parliamentary elections and the 2021 assembly elections is different. But, being the Chief Minister of a state, without even the slightest conscience, is it fair to record the biggest lie in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly? “NEET selects government school students from Tamil Nadu”. This is ignorance. Dear Commander! Look back a little. This is the 5th time you have been in power since 1967. In Tamil Nadu, there are more than 58,000 primary, secondary, high and secondary schools with over 2.5 lakh teachers. Of the total budget of Tamil Nadu, which allocates approximately Rs 3 lakh crore per annum, about Rs 40,000 crore is allocated to the school education sector alone.
Even so, why have you not been able to raise the bar of public school students? Even if the government counts one student per school from secondary schools, government school students have to fill 90% of the total medical seats in TamilNadu themselves. Why did it not take place? Have you ever thought about that? Is there a deficiency in the syllabus of the Government of Tamil Nadu in the last 50 years? Lack of pedagogy? Lack of Learning (Learning Disability / Economic Inequality)? Have you ever researched it?
The NEET exam is not based on the Oxford University curriculum. It is conducted on the basis of the comprehensive syllabus of the Central Government, also known as the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). There is a Tamil Nadu Government Textbook Institute and what is going to go down if the institute flips the syllabus of the Central Government? No matter how expensive a cell phone we have, we are not able to use the various features it may have. But today’s generation of children easily learn what we cannot learn at the age of 2 or 3. So think about implementing a good curriculum and a good education system. So that the younger generation can improve themselves. There is no such thing as a born genius or a born fool. Everything is a matter of training. Even public school students can shine and win.
There are many good quality teachers in government schools. But you have used your DMK party more for political work, and not educating students to develop or nurture them as talented citizens. You are still using it today. While no other state in India is asking for an exemption for NEET, you are the only one asking for an exemption in Tamil Nadu. By isolating public school students and making them look inferior, you are just trying to brand them with a new sense of untouchability.
It is not fair for a chief minister to try to create a public perception that public school students are inferior. They are excellent students if they study in Government Medical Colleges, Government Engineering Colleges, Government Agricultural Colleges, Government Polytechnic Colleges and Government Law Colleges. But are there only low quality students in government schools? You should not try to create a new Varnasrama called ‘Dravida Manu’. You are making the biggest mistake Stalin. History will not forgive you. You have sacrificed so many students in the anti-Hindi struggle for the comfort of your position. You have been responsible for the deaths of more than 30 students by spreading misconceptions against NEET selection among poor, simple students for the sole purpose of seizing power somehow. You intend to spread the same poisonous idea in Tamil Nadu again and again. For your political gain, you combine NEET selection and state autonomy. If you’ve achieved anything like that in history, it’s not evident so put an end to it. Even the 69% reservation of 50% for the backward and 19% for the Scheduled Castes was put forward by MGR and added to the 9th Schedule by Jayalalithaa due to her astuteness.
1. The case regarding the Cauvery Agreement was arbitrarily withdrawn from the court.
2. You have agreed to annex Katchatheevu to Sri Lanka which was under the jurisdiction of Tamil Nadu.
3. During the final phase of the war against the LTTE in 2009 and 2010, you, along with 8 other ministers, were in a position to decide on behalf of the central government but failed to save the Tamil people of the Eelam. As a result, 1 lakh Eelam members were massacred in Mullivaikkal; 3 lakh innocent Eelam Tamils were trapped in barbed wire camps; We are in a position to lose even the greatest fighters of the Eelam Tamils. The century-long struggle of a hard-fought race has been pushed back.
You were a member of the central government for 15 consecutive years from 1999 to 5 years under the Vajpayee-led BJP government (according to the DMK, the BJP was neither a religious party nor a fascist party) and from 2004 to 2014 in the United Progressive Alliance. Speaking of state autonomy, which state autonomy issue have you resolved in those 15 years? Did you redeem Katchatheevu? Did you rescue Mullaperiyar? Did you defeat the rights of the Eelam members? What does it mean to say that education should be abruptly transferred to the state list now, without making any effort to transfer the education that may have been on the public list then to the state list? Your purpose is different. You are thinking of playing a political drama in Tamil Nadu using NEET selection.
Now that you have come to power in the state, you are stirring up the demand for state autonomy as soon as you are unable to get a seat in the central government. This is exactly what your father did too. Your lying, flipping, and cheating are not valid all the time. You played political games to arouse the emotions of the people of Tamil Nadu when they were not awake that day. But, today it won’t work and will no longer succeed; We will not let you win.
A bill is returned by the hon’ble governor; In it, he raises questions on 2-3 important things. Did anyone in the legislature talk about any of that? Stalin’s job is only to get the hon’ble governor to accept the NEET resolution we have passed and to hand it over.
If so, is the governor 100% right that you are looking with a jaundiced eye? Overall, the one day assembly session was in vain. Millions of Tamil people’s tax money has been wasted on the 8th of February to fulfill the political aspirations of a man named Stalin. So what happened yesterday to the resolution passed on the 8th of February will happen tomorrow again.
The people of Tamil Nadu, knowingly or unknowingly, have so far fallen victim to the DMK’s political maneuvers. There are many benefits for Stalin and his family. But, without even thinking for a moment and understanding the political intrigue of the DMK, many intellectuals do not even know why they are losing their self-consciousness and talking about the rights of the state. Why has the media, which can be said to be the fourth pillar, also turned mute?
Students in Tamil Nadu have been getting more seats in the All India quota beyond Tamil Nadu in the last 3 years. 200% of Tamil Nadu students hold more seats in the MD and MS postgraduate courses. Dravidian stocks are trying to cover up all these changes and make a fool of themselves by pushing 10 lakh students to compete for just 4,500 seats in TamilNadu. They shed crocodile tears for rural, public school students. They are trying to build an illusion that the creation of a doctor in every home in Tamil Nadu is prevented by NEET selection.
DMK has been lapping milk like a cat for a long time. They know people in Tamil Nadu are easily emotional and can be easily provoked. The time has come to remember that it is an old-fashioned brandy. They speak of NEET and state autonomy only with the narrow intention that their family should be in power permanently in the centre and in the state; They want to sacrifice poor, destitute, backward, public school students for their political gains.
So what is within the NEET opposition is Stalin’s domestic politics, the vote bank politics of the DMK, and the divisive politics which they can wage against the unity and sovereignty of the great Indian nation.
Stalin and DMK!
Do not act with the intention of 1965. This is 2022!!
This is not old Tamil Nadu. This is the new Tamil Nadu!!
Indicating state autonomy with NEET, the people of Tamil Nadu can no longer be sacrificed!
Your politics with NEET will be completely defeated!!
Knowledgeable Tamil youth, be vigilant to save the people of Tamil Nadu from DMK’s political games.
Expose the politics of separatist, anti-national and family-oriented Dravidian stocks!
